Timing varies with queue volume and treatment complexity.
Know the process before you send a card.
These Terms explain the service, shipping, restoration risks, payment, grading limitations, and what happens if something needs to be reviewed.
Physical treatment can change a card and results vary.
Third-party grading decisions are outside our control.
Return shipping and requested coverage are calculated separately.
Card restoration is a hands-on service involving collectible property. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not send cards for treatment.
1. Submissions and eligibility
You must provide accurate contact, card, condition, ownership, and declared-value information when creating a submission. TCG Card Clinic may decline or pause work on any item that presents unusual risk, appears misrepresented, or falls outside the services we currently offer.
You represent that you own each submitted item or are authorized by the owner to request service.
2. Service levels, pricing, and turnaround
Pricing is based on the selected care level plus any treatment add-ons shown at the time your submission is created. The market or declared value may be used to suggest a handling level, but customers may choose another level unless TCG Card Clinic determines that a different handling arrangement is necessary for safety or insurance reasons.
Treatment add-ons labeled as starting prices are estimates based on typical work. Final suitability and any material price change are confirmed after physical inspection before additional work is performed.
Any turnaround time shown on the website is an estimate, not a guarantee. Actual timing can change because of order volume, card condition, treatment complexity, shipping delays, holidays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
3. Restoration risks and results
Card restoration and condition improvement involve hands-on treatment of collectible materials. Results vary by card construction, age, prior damage, surface finish, and the severity of the issue being treated.
Some defects cannot be fully corrected. Treatment may change the appearance, texture, flatness, finish, or other physical characteristics of a card. You authorize TCG Card Clinic to perform only the treatments approved for your submission.
4. Grading and authentication
TCG Card Clinic is independent from PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, and other grading or authentication companies. We do not guarantee a numeric grade, grade increase, authentication result, or any particular classification by a third-party grader.
Any condition comments, pre-grade opinions, or treatment recommendations are opinions only and are not guarantees of a future grading outcome.
Grade Prep is currently a $15 treatment add-on used with a selected care level. It includes a pre-grading condition review and presentation prep. You may also discuss having TCG Card Clinic submit approved cards to PSA on your behalf. This arrangement is optional and must be confirmed before the cards are sent for grading.
When TCG Card Clinic submits to PSA on your behalf, the PSA grading fee is not collected from you up front unless we agree otherwise in writing. The grading fee becomes due after grading is completed, the cards return to TCG Card Clinic, and the clinic receives the PSA charge. Any applicable PSA upcharges, shipping, insurance, or other third-party costs remain the customer's responsibility.
5. Shipping and insurance
Unless we expressly provide a shipping label or other written arrangement, you are responsible for choosing the carrier, packaging method, tracking, and insurance used to send cards to TCG Card Clinic.
Return shipping and requested insurance coverage are charged separately unless expressly included in your order. Carrier delays, loss, theft, or damage are handled under the carrier's terms and any insurance purchased for that shipment.
6. Payment, changes, and cancellations
Service charges and any required deposit must be paid when requested. A submission may be placed on hold until payment is complete.
You may request a cancellation before treatment begins. Once treatment has started, service charges for work already performed are non-refundable. Additional work outside the approved treatment plan will not be performed without your approval when it materially changes the price or scope.
7. Inspection and service concerns
Please inspect returned cards promptly. If you believe an item is missing, damaged, or the wrong service was performed, contact TCG Card Clinic within 14 calendar days of confirmed delivery so we can review the issue while records and shipping information are still available.
We will review timely concerns in good faith and may request photographs, packaging, tracking information, or other documentation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TCG Card Clinic is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or speculative damages arising from a service, including changes in market value, lost resale opportunity, lost grading value, or sentimental value.
For a service-related claim, our aggregate liability for the affected item will not exceed the amount paid to TCG Card Clinic for the affected service, except where applicable law does not permit that limitation. Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Authenticity and prior alteration
You agree to disclose, to the best of your knowledge, any prior restoration, recoloring, trimming, re-backing, chemical treatment, cleaning, alteration, or authenticity concern associated with an item.
We may refuse service on items we reasonably believe are counterfeit, stolen, unlawfully possessed, materially misrepresented, or unsafe to treat.
10. Unclaimed property
If completed items remain unpaid or unclaimed after repeated notice, reasonable storage charges may apply. Property that remains unclaimed for an extended period will be handled only as permitted by applicable law and after any notice required by law.
11. Privacy and records
We use submission information to provide services, communicate with you, document condition, process payments when available, and arrange return delivery. Treatment photographs and submission records may be retained for service documentation and dispute resolution.
We will not publicly identify you as the owner of a card without permission.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version accepted for your account applies to your use of TCG Card Clinic services, and the version presented or linked when you submit an order will govern that order unless a later change is required by law or you agree to it in writing.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law is required to apply.
Your signed acceptance confirms your agreement.
When you check the Terms acceptance box and type your full legal name during account activation, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. Creating an account does not authorize treatment by itself; TCG Card Clinic will only perform services that you separately approve for your cards.
Questions about these Terms can be sent through our Instagram account before you submit or approve service.
